latex.figure {componentSkeleton}R Documentation

LaTeX code for inserting a figure

Description

Create LaTeX code for inserting a figure, corresponding to a \begin{figure} statement. Return a character vector that contains LaTeX code lines.

Usage

latex.figure(filename, caption = NULL, position = "!ht", image.scale = NULL, image.width = NULL, image.height = NULL, quote.capt = TRUE, fig.label = NULL)

Arguments

filename

Filename of the figure. Typically this is relative to the LaTeX document that contains the figure.

caption

Figure caption. If NULL, no caption is inserted.

position

Figure position code.

image.scale

If non-NULL, this is a scaling factor for the figure. This parameter is exclusive with image.width or image.height.

image.width

If non-NULL, this is the width of the image in centimeters.

image.height

If non-NULL, this is the height of the image in centimeters.

quote.capt

If true, quote special characters in the caption, e.g. underscore. This is safer in that invalid captions can not produce errors, but LaTeX commands can not be used.

fig.label

LaTeX label for the figure or NULL to omit the label
